Refers to Mrs. Townsend's situation with expression of hope that Mr. Townsend will be able to come to the launching on Monday 28th inst. Mr. Colden arrived Thursday and Lynch yesterday morning and a board was formed. Post master general sent word to Genl. Bailey to effect that he sends mail to W. Point, Newburgh and Hudson only, that the North River Steam Boat Company is to carry letters and newspapers as formerly at three cents and a cent. Plans for contributing to expense of cleaning the channel. Postscript: Information concerning new boat may be procured from the Commodore.
