Approval of an agreement with Hendricks sought. Comment on timber and engine of new boat and progress made to date with request for official written notice to proceed with construction. Letters from Washington indicate that the suit will not come on till the beginning of March and Lynch doubts if it will come on at all. The Post Master is prepared to cancel contract under 6 weeks' notice according to Lynch. This is a trick so that, should the suit be decided against us, Bradby's contract will be in force.
