Relates difficulties due to ice in River and leek of wood on board, stating arrival at Athens at 5 a.m. "after most fatiguing night I ever witnessed." To leave for Poughkeepsie and will wait there till 10 o'clock tomorrow weather permitting. Advise ordering the passengers on to Poughkeepsie as River is full of ice here.
