Discussion of models for boats with request that Townsend come to the office on Tuesday to see them and possible costs of new boat. Letter received from R.L.L. to effect that it will be impossible for him to meet with Directors this month, unless possibly on the lOth inst. Suggest Townsend come on Monday's boat at all events as appointment of officers must be made this month. Large bundle of pamphlets sent with request that the Chancellor and the Chief Justice be supplied. Chancellor's cylinder now in the mill boring and will be down next week. Request for return of Carson's estimate which was sent up during the fever.
