Approval of altered advertisements. Mr. Livingston agrees to pay D. Colden. Request for instructions pertaining to Mrs. McCammon as told in presence of Mr. Brown. Fly to be sent with Chancellor this evening, Joseph Gillespie to take charge of her and if John Fosdick can be of use it would be charity to keep him and if he can not be of service let him return in Chancellor. Working on plans and models for new boat but n? contracts have been furnished having changed the form and materials by advice of Eckford. Doubts have arisin in Lynch's mind due to existing circumstances end he seems inclined rather to purchase the Southern boat then to build and also to purchase the Olive Branch. Discussion of above suggestions and propriety of building a new boat even if the Suit is lost. Should build now and strengthen line before competetors have the opportunity.
