Refers to favors of 21st and 24th unanswered due to indisposition and discussion of settlement with Mr. Crullenden - $50. a month remuneration - and same must be allowed to William Wiswall. Need for meeting to discuss repairs but no response received from Mr. Livingston. Information respecting the Virginia expected. Fever spreading rapidly over city. Request sought to have bottom of the Richmond overhauled now.
