Charles Rhind To John Townsend, Albany. New York. ALS., 1821, April 3

Dates

  • 1821, April 3

Scope and Contents

Trouble expected from two worthy Captains so suggest inquiry be made about freight as soon as possible. B. has already taken away some of the hands end probably will take all the rest. (Assume B. to mean Bartholomew). Messrs. Colden, Lynch, Eckford, and Rhind went on board the U. States - evident they have some plan to be put in operation for which we must be prepared. Requests Capt. Wiswall to bring down a few chairs from the Paragon for the office. Fire-Fly proves sound and superior to what was expected.
