Comments upon person and offer m8de for tending boats at $140. Isaac Wiswall informed of offer. Recommendation of Henry Tabez to tend boats and take office arrangement having been made with Wiswall to that effect if agreeable to Townsend. Suggests that Townsend make bargain with Wiswall as Carpenter can not have anything to do with tending the boats for less than $250. for the season.
