XIV. SCHOLARSHIP AND AWARDS FILES, 1978-1991

Summary: Documentation of two scholarships granted by the Mohegan Colony Association, the MCA award and the Walter Schwartz Community Service award. The bulk of this series consists of incoming correspondence sent by administrators and students from Lakeland High School and Walter Panas High School. These records document the recipients and the relationship between the schools and the Mohegan Colony Association.

Also included among these records are thank-you notes written by scholarship recipients. This series also includes administrative records, including internal correspondence, form letters and recipient criteria, and financial documents, including an account book for the Walter Schwartz award fund.
