Scope and Contents
Summary: Color slide transparencies, primarily in the context of presentations for Lenox employees, investors and customers. The slides depict Lenox products from numerous product lines (including china dinnerware and giftware, crystal, jewelry and lamps), as well as personnel, facilities, production practices, advertising material, retail displays and miscellaneous images possibly representing design sources. Included in the series are 35mm and, to a lesser extent, 2x2 slide transparencies, as well as scattered related memoranda and indexes.
Roughly half of the slides are organized as presentations for specific events and groups, such as sales, training, investor and other corporate meetings, and include title slides introducing presentation segments, as well as images presenting supporting documentation such as statistical data. Some such presentations have unique titles such as "The Times They Are a' Changin'" and "Pursuing the American Consumer." Other slides are organized simply by topic, such as "crystal giftware," "jewelry items" and "Lenox personnel."
Filed at the end of the series are mounted 2x2 transparencies of the Trenton facilities (in 1988) and the Trenton Garden Club's flower show at the New Jersey State Museum (in 1989).
