Scope and Contents
Summary: Letters exchanged between Nakao and the editors of her publications, letters from several universities, and memoranda. Chiefly pertains to the process of writing Fuyu no hoko. Included are letters Nakao exchanged with two editors at Chikuma Shobo and with the editor at Shinchosha. Also included are letters with photocopies of information on Katayama attached from Maryville College, Yale University Library, and Grinnell College.
In addition, Nakao's proofreader's notes are found in the series.
