Summary: This series contains approximately 170 newspaper clippings from such sources as The New York Times and The Star Ledger. Not all the clippings are identified as to source and/or date. They deal with issues to which NOW is dedicated to addressing: abortion, education, employment, health, homosexuality, prison, rape, sports. Articles related to the Feminist Movement within the United States and throughout the world can also be found in this series. Reaction to the Feminist Movement by men, teenagers, and religious organizations are recorded in articles as well. Feature articles on women in previously male-only occupations such as jockey or movie director can be found here.
