Summary: NMSCo issued quite a bit of material, some advertising-related, such as catalogues, price lists, elaborate books with photographs of the plant, and advertisements for periodicals. NMSCo also issued discount lists to its salesmen; the company's business was entirely wholesale, and it was essential to know what sort of discount a retailer was entitled to receive. Also, as a retailer could request strings boxed with the retailer's own label, a book of printing styles was distributed in order to help customers in the choosing of labels.

Within the company, NMSCo issued a periodical called the Monthly Review (circa 1923-32). This included brief news on company happenings, jokes, and stories.
