Summary: Books that provide pictures and descriptions that document people and activities of the U.S.S. Mobile (1942-1945), U.S.S. Salerno Bay (1951-1953), and U.S.S. Greenwich Bay (1960) during the time Burfeind was serving on these ships. Also included in the records are ship's newsletters from the Salerno Bay.
The series contains the cruise book U.S.S. Mobile: The Story of a Ship - And The Men Who Fought Her, which chronicles the Mobile during WW II, and a picture of Commander H.F. Burfeind, USN can be found under the section "Heads of Departments, 1945". The U.S.S.
