Summary: Two account books kept by Israel F. Silvers, one later used in part as a scrapbook, plus a shoemaker's daybook. Silvers' account books pertain to his work as a school teacher. They consist of a daybook kept at Swedesboro, N.J., 1856-1858, and an accompanying ledger kept at Swedesboro, 1856-1858, that also include ledger entries, 1860-1864, recorded at Pennington, N.J. The shoemaker's account book, 1830-1837, was kept in Amwell Township, Hunterdon County, N.J., and was also later used as a scrapbook.
