Summary: General Correspondence: Includes personal correspondence from friends, family and art world figures. Letters and postcards reference exhibition openings, reminiscences of school days at the San Francisco Institute of the Arts, and discussions of artwork problems/triumphs. Featured writers include Jay DeFeo, Knute Stiles, Donald Kuspit, Elaine de Kooning, Fred Martin, Wally Hedrick, and Hayward King.

Professional Correspondence: Contents include miscellaneous professional correspondence which does not fit in other series. It includes correspondence with the Institute for International Education for her trip to Japan in 1956 and a request for information in regards to artists that are similar to Frederic Remington, her first cousin twice removed.
