VII. Subject Files

This series includes lesbian and gay rights material mainly from the mid 1980s and documents regarding the 1984 U.S. Presidential campaign, the National Political Caucus of Black Women (1983 to 1985), the 1980 NOW Mid-Atlantic Regional Conference, and the Ku Klux Klan. In addition, folders include material about reproductive freedom and the impact of the Reagan budget cuts on women's programs. Of particular interest are speeches and speech notes written by Barboza-Clark in which she addresses these and other issues.
