Scope and Contents

Summary:Oversized material is housed in an oversized flat box, 31.5 x 23.5 x 3.5 inches, and ranges in date from 1959 to 1990, with the bulk of the material in the 1980s. The series consists of large image negatives and corresponding lithographic plates, galley proofs artwork and layouts, as well as printed material acquired by Mr. Gelfand. The image negatives and lithographic plates are of illustrations for John Digby’s Stone House Press book, Incantations, and of John DePol pattern paper. One of the pattern papers is for From Dark to Light and the other is identified as “Bracket.” The cover for the book Renewals by Gerard Previn Meyer and layouts and artwork for the broadside "Two Deer" by Ben Howard are also in this series.
