PAPERS

Summary:This series is housed in five manuscript boxes and consists of working papers of Morris Gelfand and The Stone House Press, as well as other small printed material. The bulk of the material relates to books and broadsides published in the 1980s and includes personal and professional correspondence, contracts, proofs, publication planning notes, sample poetry, drafts and artwork. Several folders also contain clippings about the poets he published.



Included here are also printed announcements from the Stone House Press and other presses, advertisements, holiday cards, keepsakes printed for the Typophiles, a biographical resume of Morris Gelfand, works by Jim Gelfand and materials of personal interest such as a collection of cartoon drawings by French cartoonist Robert Carrizey.



Arrangement is alphabetical by subject, with materials related to a specific author, artist or poet filed together.
