Ross 6/6 - 147a-b
Two collagraphs, diptych in purple, green and brown. This double print depicts a deep and narrow canyon with steep sides. Upper Chasm, Ross 147a, shows the canyon with a tall butte in the background. Lower Chasm, Ross 147b finishes the lower half of the scene, with the steep walls of the canyon ending in a yellow river at the bottom. 20/50. Heavy cream-colored paper. Signed John Ross. Verso upper right corner on both in pencil: “Diptych.”
