Ross 1/5 - 11a-g

Six collagraphs (three numbered prints and three artist’s proofs) and one drawing, all in reds, orange and purple. Abstract representation of Purim colored noisemakers, with slight variations in the placement of various elements from print to print. The drawing, Ross 11a, is in [pastel] on tracing paper or glassine. The artist’s proofs, Ross 11b-d, are titled and signed John Ross. Two are dated and one is undated. The prints, Ross 11e-g, are untitled and are signed John Ross. Originally, all were together in a folder identified by the title, with the note “ed 50.” Cream-colored paper. The drawing has been placed in a polyester folder due to its fragility and the probable corrosive nature of its paper.
