Francis X. Harrigan is the proprietor of the Xavier Press of Baltimore, Maryland. He handsets the type for most of his books and prints them all on a 6 x 9 Baltimore #14 table top press purchased in 1937. Harrigan reports that he has 200 cases of type and over 200 fonts of type on the shelf…Harrigan’s first miniature book was listed as ‘privately printed.’ It was published before Harrigan utilized the Xavier Press imprint.
