Scope and Contents

Burt Randle lived in Pettigrew, Arkansas and produced a variety of miniature books most of which are photographic reproductions of his very small handwriting. The others are Photographic reproductions of type and illustrations. … The books all have distinctive bindings….leather with a paper title label on the front cover. Holding the book closed is a characteristic clasp made of thin wire. … Most of Randle's books do not include a date or place of publication. The date 1939 or 1940 appears in several books.
