MINIA PRESS, EDMUND S. WOOD

Scope and Contents

Minia Press and Edmund S. Wood are the imprints used jointly on several miniature books published in Jamaica, New York in the 1940s. Two Lewis Carroll volumes appeared under the Edmund S. Wood imprint with Paris listed as the place of publication in 1950. Bradbury saw one copy which contains a rubber stamp noting that the American distributors are The Carol Company of Hacketstown, New Jersey. It is therefore possible that these two volumes are not U.S. publications. (Bradbury 149)
