Scope and Contents
Dawson’s Book Shop was the imprint of Glen and Mary Helen Dawson of Los Angeles, California. Dawson sought out the best practitioners of the book arts to produce his miniature books. Daughters Karen and Susan took the lead in the early 1960s and their publishing venture lasted seven years (1962-1969) and nine productions. Mary Helen inherited the miniature book business from her daughters (Bradbury 58).
