Scope and Contents
The Bronte Press was founded by Suzanne Granzow Pruchnicki and Elmira Smith Wilkey of Manteno, Illinois in 1977. Pruchnicki and Wilkey each have written and illustrated, letterpress printed, hand-colored, and bound miniature books. All of the illustrations are original works, often hand-colored, by one of the publishers. (Bradbury 39)
