Scope and Contents
The Ash Ranch Press was the imprint of Don Hildreth of San Diego, California, from 1986 until 1991. The Ash Ranch Press created 23 miniature books, all designed, handset and printed, illustrated and bound by Hildreth. His printing press was an old Chandler & Price pilot press that he called “Baby Bertha.” (Bradbury 11)
A bibliography of the Ash Ranch Press is also in the collection, published by the Miniature Book Society.
