Scope and Contents
Subjects includes a broad range of topics and document types concerning Abscam. Contents include clippings, memos, press releases, correspondence, reports, and various other materials. Many aspects of Abscam are documented including HAW's trials, communication with his attorneys, linguistic analysis evidence, Jack Anderson's columns, other Abscam-related trials, HAW's time in prison, correspondence with Lyndon LaRouche's National Democratic Policy Committee, and a dramatized version of HAW's Abscam experiences.

Arrangement
The sub-series remains in the original folders with original label descriptions as received at Rutgers from HAW in 1990. The subjects are arranged in roughly chronological order. While the bulk of the subject files were found together, several similarly-foldered materials (primarily clippings) were found separately in the 1990 materials received from HAW; these were added to the end of the sub-series by the processing archivist.
