Arrangement
Correspondence is arranged in four sets, from that found in the most organized files to the least organized. Negative/Support correspondence is maintained in its original order, alphabetical by correspondent within the two categories, as obtained from HAW's office in 1982. The majority of this correspondence is in the folders labeled "Support." Abscam General is a second set of correspondence, following its original chronological arrangement. A third set of correspondence comes from originally-labeled, though otherwise scattered, folders; these were arranged chronologically by the archivist. Seven miscellaneous folders compiling scattered correspondence, arranged chronologically by the archivist, closes the sub-series. There is also a small amount of legal-sized correspondence boxed separately. Legal-size correspondence is found in container 383.
