Includes March 26, 1996 letter to Hon. Robert N. Wilentz from Hon. Leonard N. Arnold, Presiding Judge, Criminal Division, Superior Court of New Jersey requesting approval for the receipt of royalties for a Third Edition of Criminal Practice and Procedure authored by the Judge. The issue was whether a sitting judge can edit, proofread and receive royalties from his prior authored work already published. Also contains six memoranda, including one to the Committee from Nancy Lichtenstein, Esq. regarding Judge Arnold's request. Also contains handwritten notes and draft proposed repo1t to the Supreme Court in the matter of Judge Leonard N. Arnold containing handwritten edits, copy of the publication agreement with handwritten notes.
