MINUTES, 1972-1983, 1990-1997, undated

Summary: Minutes of the meetings of District V, which include planning and regular meetings. Interfiled in this series are agendas, lists of committee delegates from local clubs in the district, reservations and announcements for meetings, and reports from local club presidents.

Most of the minutes follow an agenda such as the Call to Order, the Collect, Pledge of Allegiance, Welcome by the Hostess club, a meal, minutes from the previous meeting (Fall or Spring), Treasurer's Reports, unfinished business, new business, comments from the state representative, and announcements. Meetings in the early 1990s were more likely to have a summary from each committee chairman.

Of interest are the activity reports from the local clubs. These summarize the club's activities for the year and their future plans. There are local club reports from New Brunswick, Somerset of Somerville, Middlebrook, Princeton, Raritan Bay. Also of interest is an amendment to the motion made to eliminate districts in the state of New Jersey (Spring 1997). It was decided that if at the state meeting there was a motion to disband districts, they would support a semi-disbanding of the districts.
