SCRAPBOOKS, 1926-1970 and 1990/1991-1999/2000

Summary: Scrapbooks chiefly containing press clippings, but also including photographs, programs and some newsletters.

The earlier scrapbooks are housed in their own individual boxes and contain newspaper clippings, photographs, programs, correspondence, newsletters, and proclamations. They cover the years 1926-1967.

The later scrapbooks are more organized and are either press books, scrapbooks, local organization involvement and participation, or are newsletter oriented. These scrapbooks were used for yearly statewide competitions. The press books, local organization involvement and participation books, and scrapbooks are all separated by tabs by event or by month. The newsletter scrapbooks (1997/1998-1998/1999) are separated by month. These books contain information on the events of the preceding year.
