NEWSLETTERS, 1951-1954, 1961-1999 (with gaps)

Summary: Newsletters of the New Brunswick Business and Professional Women's Club. Also includes two binders of newsletters (1997/1988-1998/1999). Some newsletters (1936-1950) are contained in the SCRAPBOOKS. These being held in the scrapbook dated 1936-1954.

The newsletters were usually issued before each meeting and announced upcoming events and meetings.

The original newsletter name was The Messenger from 1937 to 1952; it varied thereafter.

Newsletters from the 1960s include plans for the next meeting, reminders, recent events and RSVP slips. The 1970s newsletters contained a smaller amount of information with just the date of the next meeting and small reminders. The 1980s saw a more detailed newsletter with upcoming programs, meetings, membership, president's message, news briefs, highlights, some committee updates, announcements, and other information. The newsletters of the early 1990s were based more on committee reports, upcoming events, and advertisements.

Also included is a newsletter from the Westfield BPW club (September 1975).
