Scope and Contents

Summary: Reports read or presented at annual meetings of the New Jersey Division which recount activities of the president, officers, committees and branches. The format of the report evolved over the years. From 1930 to 1945 the report was generally a typed address, except in 1938 when President Fisher distributed a mimeographed copy of her report (as well as the chairmen's reports) "to save time." From 1946 to 1960 the folders generally contain both a mimeographed president's report and the corresponding secretary's branch activity report, The annual reports from 1961 to 1970 represent' either a compilation of reports from each officer and committee chair or a blanket summary of committees and activities by the president, accompanied by a branch report summary. Beginning in 1971, the annual reports take on a more polished appearance, complete with cover, and several from this period also contain copies of the annual meeting's minutes and other details.
