Scope and Contents

Summary: National by-laws precede state by-laws. The state by-laws are based on the national by-laws and consist of printed examples, by-laws with penciled or pasted-in revisions and other, separate revisions and amendments, The first complete revision of the state by-laws was effected in 1968 and is accompanied by a procedures manual.

Included with the national by-laws are lists of approved colleges and universities and information on membership policy.
