CAMPAIGN FILES, 1974-1980

Summary: A cross-section of campaign materials, mainly as kept within "The File System"--a subject scheme (indicated by typed folder headings) used as late as 1980 at the Ridgewood, New Jersey campaign headquarters (see first folder about "The File System"). Retrospective of earlier campaigns with respect to endorsements, candidate profiles and press releases and possibly used as reference materials for the 1980 campaign exclusively. Included are memoranda, correspondence, newsletters, newsclippings, press releases and a special interest mailing list ("Blacks").

Folders preceding and following "The File System"s typed-heading folders are apparently headed in the Congressman's own handwriting, possibly indicating that this entire series' materials were in his possession.
