AUDIO RECORDINGS, 1975[?]-1981[?]

Summary: Included are cassettes, 8" and 5" reels, and one microcassette containing oral remarks by, about,or ofinterest to Congressman Maguire at press conferences, forums, debates, clubs, or on the radio (talk shows or campaign ads). Topics include asbestos, Crossroads, the family, campaign issues, and a variety of other subjects.

The tapes are rarely dated and but sketchily described on their labels. Some are simply identified by the Congressman's name or where the tape was recorded, while others include lengthy notes on accompanying sheets (some of which were found lying loose in the original box and cannot be associated with particular tapes). Some cassettes are labeled as "not working" but may have been recorded on prior to malfunction.
