PHOTOGRAPHS, 1975[?]-1980[?]

Summary: Documentation of the various venues at which the Congressman appeared. Photos of special events (see SPECIAL EVENTS) are well represented, with appearances by actor Robert Redford (also an environmentalist), Vice President Walter Mondale, United Nations Ambassador Andrew Young, Senator Hubert Humphrey, Senator Edward Kennedy, and others, at various dinners or Maguire campaign fundraising events. Also represented are various forums (see FORUMS), neighborhood tours, conferences, picnics, luncheons, campaign volunteers, plus unidentified photographs of staff members and a large quantity of publicity photographs ("Head Shots", etal.) of Congressman Maguire himself. There is also a multitude of group shots of the Congressman and various visitors from New Jersey on the Capitol steps.

The first folder in PHOTOGRAPHS contains a memo from Jo Ann Navickos (unidentified staff position) and Corinne Mulqueen (secretary to the Advisory Committee) to office staff regarding "The File System". The outline contained in this memo describes how campaign files were arranged as of June 1980, and how some of the photographs, usually of events, figure in that scheme. The outline does not describe the campaign files as a whole, however, due to an apparent rearrangement subsequent to the drafting of the outline.
