Scope and Contents
Summary: Documentation of official pronouncements to radio, television and the press regarding numerous facets of the activities, usually with respect to legislation, foreign affairs, New Jersey projects, campaign, etc. The PRESS RELEASES, more so than ROBO LETTERS or SPEECHES, provide brief summaries not only of the Congressman's views, but concise background information on the history of an issue. In conjunction with NEWSCLIPPINGS, considerably more information can be gathered than from either series separately.
Staff members (called "contact persons" on the press releases) involved in the writing of and follow-up on press releases include Bob Howden, Steven D'Arazien, Jean Cavallaro, Len Filppu and Kathleen Rae.

Arrangement: Arranged alphabetically by subject (by the Congressman's staff) and remaining in, mainly, original folders. Some press releases shifted: from elsewhere in the collection precede the alphabetical sequence.
