Name records describe the people, families, and organizations that create archival materials. In Archives at Rutgers, users can view name records to see all of the collections created by a person, family, or organization. Name records are shared across all libraries and repositories at Rutgers, and staff choose them from controlled lists, including the Library of Congress.
This collection contains materials about William H. Martin, Dean of the College of Agriculture at Rutgers University from 1939 until his retirement in 1960. The bulk of this collection's records cover the years from 1945 to 1960. The materials include photographs, press releases, newspaper clippings, speeches, and ephemeral matter produced on special occasions. The collection is organized into two series: Series I, Photographic Files, and Series II, Subject Files.
