In Archives at Rutgers, users can view name records to see all of the collections created by a person, family, or organization. Name records are shared across all libraries and repositories at Rutgers, and staff choose them from controlled lists, including the Library of Congress.

George Washington Coakley was a prominent Rutgers College Alumnus and Professor of Mathematics and Astronomy at the University of City of New York (now referred as, New York University) who conducted notable research on Astro-Physics, particularly on the origin of meteorites and the movements of the solar system.
The Robert B. Davis Papers contain material relating to Davis's career in mathematics education. The collection is composed of notes, correspondence, e-mail printouts, articles and book chapters, course materials, and trip itineraries. Although most of the material pertains to Davis's professional activities, some documents relate to personal matters.
