Abstract:
The Jack Chernick Papers consist of primarily textual records that chronicle Chernick's career as an arbitrator, educator, labor commissioner and researcher over a period of more than thirty years. They document Chernick's accomplishments as a mediator for the American Arbitration Association, his professional interest in, and efforts in support of, the Comprehensive Employment and Training Act, and his service with the New Jersey Public Employment Relations Commission.
