Abbey Lincoln music, papers, and audiovisual recordings contains a range of materials collected and created by Ms. Lincoln herself over the course of her life including scores, photographs, collected writings, business and personal files. All of these evidence her personal and professional endeavors as well as her continuous evolution as an artist.
The collection consists of 59 works by the artist Al Blaustein (1924-2004), including 5 paintings, 48 drawings and four prints. Also included is a sketchbook of drawings, a catalog of the artist’s late works, the artist’s inventory records for many of the library’s holdings and photo images of the works in the collection.
This collection contains thirteen photographic contact sheets of photos from performances, jazz vespers, and candid shots featuring musicians including Jimmy Rowles, Tony Bennett, Marian McPartland, Benny Carter, and Mary Lou Williams, among others.
The Alan M. Voorhees Transportation Center Archives project seeks to preserve the knowledge gained from planning and construction of the Rutgers University system of transportation and ultimately provide a resource for future scholars, practitioners, and decision makers to understand the lessonsthat were learned by the first generation of transportation professionals. This collection contains reports, surveys, notes, memoranda, and policies from 1954-2010.
