Abstract: Joan Arbeiter is an artist, author, and curator, focusing on women in the arts. Arbeiter was educated at Douglass College and the New York Feminist Art Institute, where she took the Visual Diaries Class. This collection contains forty-six black-and-white 5x7 prints taken by Wilder in the 1960s and 1970s. The photographs include many candid shots of musicians including Duke Ellington on stage, Louis Armstrong recording a commercial, the Modern Jazz Quartet on the Cavett Show 1973, and Eubie Blake at the Waldorf Astoria. The photographs were printed in 1991 for the Annual Review of Jazz Studies issue 5.

John Forsyth graduate from Rutgers College in 1829. His papers consists of three folders of letters and speeches, 1834-1862. Folder one contains letters written to Rev. John Forsyth from parishioners and colleagues, 1834-1862. Folder two contains seven hand-written speeches, apparently by Forsyth, beginning in 1844. Folder three contains three letters written to and from relatives of John Forsyth, 1834-1841.
