This collection contains materials related to the Charlie Parker Festival from 1993-2002. It is largely made up of photographs from the annual series of concerts and also contains twenty-six digital audio tapes, ten VHS tapes, three cassettes, programs, flyers, and a box of press and correspondence materials from its founder and former producer, Sam Turvey.
This collection consists of photographs of a musical performance at the Overseas Press Club. There are two sleeves of photographs labeled, "Dick Gileson jazz party 1967, Ellie Schocket photos." Some artists appearing in the photographs include Dick Hymann, Cliff Leeman, Les Paul, Oliver Jackson, Pee Wee Erwin, and Bobby Hackett.
This collection contains photographs, negatives, and slides of the Savoy Dancers and vaudeville acts from the Big Band Era. Many of the images have personal inscriptions.
