Lubell 8/14: 301 Linocut print of robed [Greek?] women, some with head coverings. Foreground two pairs of kneeling/squatting women. Background on one side is woman and child by loom, and on the other side a woman reaching for a pot from a shelf and another woman with face covered. Household setting with pottery, hanging herbs? and cats. Colors are black and white. Note in lower right: “1st proof.” This appears to be a print from the same block as Lubell 149. Below (?) sleeping or dead pigs and a [rat?]. Both prints are black with white gouache adding emphasis or covering unwanted lines.
