Animals, “merfolk” and plants surrounding a central figure of a double-tailed mermaid. 326a is drawn in ink with minimal penciled-in decoration, while 326b is colored with pastel and marker, as well as having some elements drawn with graphite pencil. 326a has the notation “Final” in the upper right corner. Ink drawing of a [piece of driftwood or rotting wood?] in a shape that suggests a sea creature. Hollows hold what appear to be leaves and plants or coral and limpets. The right side appears skeletal, with a dark recess for its eye that may just be a removed socket and lines that look like distinct parts of a skull. A draft sketch on the verso is an ink and pencil outline resembling a sea creature.

Ink and wash drawing (with gouache). Full body portrait of a young girl/woman sitting with her arms crossed. The chair is not shown. Light pen strokes are used for outlines and line patterns, but the dominant material is the grayscale watercolors, which are used both for definition on the figure but the shading around her. Dated April 10, ‘67. Lubell 242 and 254 appear to be of the same subject and were painted the same day.
