Scope and Contents: Lubell 3/10: 182-183 Two photographs of an ink and wash drawing of [Chicago?] stockyards, showing men processing animal carcasses hung on meat hooks. Lubell 182 has printing notations and the photograph of an additional man attached to lengthen the picture. Both are signed Milius. These were originally in a folder with the folder holding the Sit-down Strike in Chicago drawings from 1936, which had the additional notation “Stockyards – Chicago for newspaper.” 182 –...

Scope and Contents: Lubell 3/10: 185b One of two depictions of the same image, one an aquatint print and the other a drawing. This version is an ink, pastel and wash drawing (with gouache) of a woman wearing a floral hat, a fur-trimmed coat and, what appears to be an apron over the front. The woman has very short stature (the arms in particular are somewhat short for her body type). The aquatint, Lubell 185a, is untitled and shows the woman facing to her right.
