Lubell 1/1: 98

Elaborate collage of an unknown musician playing a similarly ambiguous instrument. Any context is unknown, but presumably archaic – all of the collage pieces appear to be photographs of older stones, sculpture, and art. The collective pieces, instead of being laid directly on top of brown mat board, are actually placed over a series of separate boards themselves connected to each other. Signed Winifred Milius Lubell.

Lubell 1/1: 201

Large thick paper collage dominated by a massive cutout photograph of a statue or doll of a male fertility god defined partially by phallic imagery. It is positioned to sit on a "T"-shaped platform flanked by significantly smaller cutouts of goddess statues. Black rice paper and gold paper serve as a base on the bottom. Signed Winifred Milius Lubell.

Scope and Contents: Lubell 1/1: 202 Collage centered on a photographic cutout of a stone bust of a female deity. She is flanked by a number of female cutouts: a laughing woman (who from her attire looks from the 1960s) and multiple archaic stone dolls. The lone exception to this group, a statue of a bull (with a separately-added cutout paper for its unnaturally blue eyes), stands at the bottom of the page, over a similarly blue mosaic tile patter. A headdress of gold leaves is on the main goddess'...

Scope and Contents: Lubell 1/1: 203 Small collage on black paper of three cutouts of goddesses, with wings made from cutouts of various patterns (one is either of fire or bright reddish-orange, while another is brown with interconnected red lines). It is difficult to tell where the images of the goddesses originated; they could be either photographs of small figurines or drawn on a separate paper by Lubell. White lines (likely pen ink) are used for a border and some definitions of two of the...

Scope and Contents: Lubell 1/1: 204 Collage containing a small grouping of five distinct figures, four of which are photographic cutouts. Each one is statue of a (presumably female) deity in some fashion, with the sole exception of the statue drawn on the page (which depicts a female deity along with what appears to be a male counterpart and daughter figure). One of the pictures is of a pot with a face on it. All figures are grouped close together, with a large amount of space on the margins of the...

Scope and Contents: Lubell 1/1: 205 Collage of a number of Egyptian and Greco-Roman statues, as well as cutout drawings of fertility goddesses, stellar bodies, and one monochrome photograph of two 20th century people. All individual objects are separate cutouts, all with different styles (some photographs are in color; the drawings of the idols are distinct from other Lubell pieces). Three golden cutouts are used as columns or vertical borders, and two different patterns are used as top and bottom...
